Q&A
A: Yes, there are some age restrictions for the hot springs. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults can soak as long as they’re in good health. Just check with Lucky Bear Tours for the latest policies, as they’re super friendly and can give you the most current info!
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit! Also, bring a warm cover-up for when you’re out of the water. The hot springs are naturally heated, but the air can get pretty chilly, especially in winter. Flip flops are a great idea too, as the ground can be cold.
A: Lucky Bear Tours has a decent cancellation and rescheduling policy. If the weather's really bad, they can usually help you find another date. Just reach out to them directly; they’re super accommodating and want to make sure you have a great experience.

Thinking of gifting the Chena Hot Springs tour—any tips?
So I'm thinking of gifting the Chena Hot Springs tour to my sister's family. They've never been to Fairbanks, and I think it’d be an awesome experience! The scenery looks gorgeous, and I love the idea of the ice sculptures at the Ice Museum. What do you guys think? Any tips for first-timers?
Just got back from Chena Hot Springs, and wow!
I recently went to Chena Hot Springs, and it was stunning! The hot springs were perfect, especially surrounded by snow. The Ice Museum was like stepping into another world! I had a drink at the ice bar, and it was served in an ice glass, which was totally cool. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!
