Amy Bizzarri, author of "Chicago's Iconic Dishes, Desserts, and Drinks," has curated this tour of Chicago's most historic cocktail hotspots. You'll learn some history, a bit of architecture, and have the opportunity to enjoy some of the best drinks the city has to offer! A perfect experience for a last-minute, grown-up night out! This tour is app-guided, so you can start and stop and restart at your convenience. Feel free to break the experience up over several days, if you are not up for a one-day cocktail crawl! The eATLAS app will guide you to each of the 5 stops in the heart of Chicago's Loop. They are all within an easy walking distance. The drinking age is 21 years old, so be prepared to show ID if you are planning on drinking cocktails. A specific drink is recommended but not required at each stop. The cost of food and drinks is NOT included in the Adventure. This is the Part 2 of a 2-part series of cocktail-focused tours. Be sure to check out Part 1!

Q&A

Q: Can you do part 2 without doing part 1? I really want to gift this to my friend but they missed part 1.

A: Yes, you can definitely enjoy Part 2 without having done Part 1! Each tour is designed to stand alone, so your friend will still get to experience the historic cocktail spots. It could be a fun way for them to dive right into the Chicago cocktail scene! Just make sure they’re ready to explore some tasty drinks!

Q: Is there an age limit? Can I bring a 20-year-old with me?

A: Yes, the drinking age is 21. If you're planning to enjoy the cocktails at the stops, everyone in your group needs to be 21 or older. But if your friend is only 20, they can still join you for the experience, just without drinking. They can still enjoy the history and architecture as you sip away!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can I reschedule?

A: Since this experience is app-guided, you can start whenever you want! If the weather isn’t great, you can always postpone your tour to another day. Just make sure to check the weather in advance and plan accordingly. It could be a chill or rainy day activity if you choose to go for it!

Considering gifting the Chicago Cocktail Adventure Part 2, any thoughts?

I’m thinking about getting the Chicago Cocktail Adventure Part 2 for my partner’s birthday! They love history and cocktails, and this seems perfect! I read that it covers 5 spots in the Loop, which is great since we can just walk between them. Is it really as fun as it sounds? Any tips?
