Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this food tour? Can kids join?

A: There’s no strict age limit for the Chicago Full-Day Walking Food Tour, but it’s generally more suitable for ages 12 and up. Kids are definitely welcome, though! Just keep in mind that some of the food might be an acquired taste for younger ones. You can also mix in the bike or kayak rental afterward as a fun activity for the whole family!

Q: What should we wear? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes! The tour involves quite a bit of walking, so you’ll want to be ready for that. Dress casually and check the weather, as it can get windy by the lake. Layers are a good idea since it might be warm while you eat but cooler on the bike ride or kayak. Enjoy the food, it’s worth it!

Q: What happens if it rains? Can we reschedule?

A: If it rains, the tour usually goes on unless the weather is severe. In cases of light rain, they provide ponchos. If the tour is canceled due to bad weather, you can reschedule for a later date. Just connect with the provider, Bobby's Bike, Hike & Food Tours, and they’ll help you out.

Amazing Food Tour in Chicago!

Just got back from the Chicago Full-Day Walking Food Tour and it was incredible! We hit all the iconic spots like Millennium Park and the Chicago Riverwalk, and the food was to die for—especially the deep-dish pizza and the original Palmer House brownie. Plus, I loved getting to rent a bike for free afterward to explore Lake Michigan. Definitely a highlight of my trip! Highly recommend it as a gift for foodies or anyone visiting the city!

Thinking of gifting this tour!

I’m considering this food tour as a birthday gift for my friend who loves food and Chicago. Has anyone done it recently? I want to make sure it's worth the money. Also, any tips on what time is best to go?
