Q&A

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day we’re scheduled? Can we reschedule easily?

A: If the weather's not cooperative, Fly Heli is really flexible. They usually let you reschedule for a later date without any extra fees, as long as you give them a heads up. Just keep an eye on the forecast, and if it looks sketchy, call them to confirm your status. They want you to have the best experience!

Q: What’s the age limit for kids on this tour? Is it safe for younger kids?

A: Kids aged 3 and up are welcome on the tour! They need to sit on a parent's lap if they're under 3, but otherwise, it's pretty safe. Just be sure to explain the experience to them beforehand so they know what to expect. I've taken my 5-year-old, and he loved it!

Q: Is it ok to bring a camera? What about selfie sticks?

A: You can definitely bring a camera, and you'll want to! Just no selfie sticks, though. The space is a bit tight in the helicopter. They encourage you to take as many pictures as you want, just be respectful of the other passengers. Be ready for some epic skyline shots!

Just booked the Chicago Helicopter Tour! Super Excited!

I finally bought the 10-minute helicopter tour for 3 people as a surprise for my boyfriend and his brother while they’re visiting. The views of the skyline are going to be amazing! I can’t wait to see their faces when we take off. Just hoping the weather holds up! Has anyone done this yet?

Thinking About This Helicopter Tour as a Gift for My Dad

My dad loves heights and has never been on a helicopter before. I’m considering getting him this tour for his birthday. I’ve read it’s a pretty quick ride, but will it be worth it? Anyone got thoughts? What was your favorite part?
