Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Chicago Kids Camp?

A: Yes, the camp is generally for kids ages 6-12. They have different activities suitable for that age range, so it’s designed to be fun and safe for them. If your child is just outside that range, you might want to contact them directly to see if they can accommodate.

Q: What do kids need to wear for the camp? Is it super active?

A: Definitely dress them in activewear! They’ll be biking and kayaking, so comfy clothes and sturdy shoes are a must. Also, pack a hat and sunscreen for the outdoor activities. They’ll have a blast, but you want them to be comfy and protected.

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel or reschedule?

A: If it rains, they usually move inside for some activities or reschedule for a different day. They’re pretty flexible with the weather, but it’s best to check their policy when you book. They want to make sure the kids have as much fun as possible!

Just signed my kids up for Bobby’s Chicago Kids Camp!

I’m super excited because my kids are going for a week this summer! I love that they’ll be out biking and kayaking while I take some time to enjoy the city. The fact that they’ll visit places like Lincoln Park Zoo and Buckingham Fountain is such a bonus. Anyone else done this? What should I expect?

Thinking of gifting the Chicago Kids Camp for my niece!

I’m from out of town but I want my niece to have an awesome experience this summer. I’ve read some good things about Bobby’s camp, especially the kayaking part. Is it good for a shy kid? She’s 8 and usually takes a while to warm up to new things. Any insights?
