Q&A
A: You’ll want to wear comfortable clothes and shoes since you'll be on the Segway for a while. No formal dress code, but avoid flip-flops or heels for safety. Layers are good because it can be chilly by the lake. Also, don’t forget sunscreen if it’s sunny!
A: If the weather looks questionable, they will contact you to reschedule. They don’t go out in heavy rain or storms, so you should be fine. Just keep an eye on the forecast as your tour date approaches!
A: Yes, it’s great for kids! The minimum age is usually around 12 years old, but it’s best to check with Absolutely Chicago Segway Tours for specifics. They’ll love gliding along the lakefront and seeing the sights. Just make sure they're comfortable on a Segway!

Had a blast on the Segway tour of Chicago!
I did the Chicago Landmarks & Museum Campus Segway tour last weekend, and it was awesome! The guide was super friendly and knew a ton about the city. We stopped at Buckingham Fountain and got to see the Shedd Aquarium from the lakefront. The small group made it feel personal, which I loved. Definitely worth the price!
Thinking of gifting the Segway tour, but unsure!
I’m considering this Segway tour for my partner’s birthday. They love exploring, but they’ve never ridden a Segway before. Is it easy for beginners? And how long does it take? Any tips would help!
