The MCA Chicago is one of the nation’s largest multidisciplinary museums devoted to the art of our time with an international reputation for presenting ground-breaking exhibitions. Originally conceived as a "Kunsthalle" or non-collecting art hall hosted temporary exhibitions of new and experimental artists, the museum has no permanent exhibits on view. Instead, you'll find work by living artists across media in exhibits that change every few months. The MCA also boasts an award-winning Store and Marisol, the restaurant and bar, featuring innovative flavors in an immersive art environment. Please call the Box Office for questions or exchanges.

Thinking about gifting tickets to the MCA Chicago!

Hey everyone! I’m considering getting tickets to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago for my partner’s birthday. They love modern art, and I hear the exhibitions change pretty often. I’m curious if anyone has been recently or has tips on what’s a must-see there! Also, how’s the food at Marisol? Is it worth checking out? Thanks!

Just visited the MCA Chicago—what an experience!

I just got back from the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and wow, it was fantastic! The exhibitions were all really unique, and I loved how everything was curated. The store had some cool art books too. I recommend you check it out! I went on a weekday, so it wasn't too crowded, which was nice for taking my time. Anyone else have a favorite piece or exhibition they saw there?
