Q: What's the age limit for this Segway tour? Can kids join?

A: Kids aged 12 and up can ride a Segway, but they need to weigh at least 100 lbs. It's a great family activity, and I saw families with teens enjoying it! Just make sure they feel comfortable on the Segway before the ride because it can take a bit to get used to.

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: They do have a rain policy! If it’s heavy rain or storms, the tour will be canceled and you can reschedule for free. Just keep an eye on the weather since they decide around tour time. I did this tour once on a clear night, and it was so worth it!

Q: How hard is it to ride a Segway? Never done it before.

A: It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it! The guides give a quick tutorial and are super helpful. I was a bit wobbly at first, but by the end, I felt like a pro! Just relax and enjoy the ride along the lakefront; it’s beautiful at night.

I just got back from the Chicago Pier Fireworks Segway Tour and it was incredible! The views of the skyline at night are just breathtaking, and the fireworks were such a cherry on top.
