Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this walking tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but kids under 18 need a guardian to sign a waiver. Since it’s a walking tour, I’d say it's best suited for kids who can comfortably walk for about 75 minutes. A lot of families bring their kids, and they seem to have a great time!

Q: What should we wear for this walking tour? I want to be comfortable.

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes! The tour covers a half-mile, and you'll be walking on grass, which can get boggy if it rained. Dress in layers since it can be chilly in the morning. Bring a light jacket just in case!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks bad, they usually reach out to reschedule. Just keep an eye on your email! They’re pretty flexible, and you can always check their policy on the website for more details before booking.

Thinking about gifting the Chicago Movie Tour experience!

I’m planning to gift this Chicago's Midway walking tour to my movie-obsessed friend. The idea of exploring the links between film and the 1893 World's Fair sounds amazing! Plus, it’s a Sunday morning, which feels more relaxed. Has anyone done this? Any tips or advice?

Just did the Midway walking tour—here's my take!

I went on the Chicago's Midway, Movies, and the 1893 World's Fair tour last week, and it was so informative! The mini goodie bag was a fun touch, and I learned a ton about early cinema. If you’re into movies or history, I highly recommend it. Just be prepared for a bit of walking!
