Q&A
A: The tour welcomes all ages, but keep in mind that some content might not be suitable for very young kids due to the themes surrounding gangsters and crime during the Prohibition era. It’s a good idea to check with the provider if you're bringing younger children to see if they would enjoy it. Personally, I took my 12-year-old, and he loved it!
A: Parking can be tricky in downtown Chicago. There's street parking available, but you might be better off looking for a garage nearby. The tour starts at the corner of State and Lake, and there are several garages within walking distance. Just plan to arrive 30 minutes early, or you'll stress over finding a spot!
A: The Gangster Tour runs year-round, but the best time to go is in the spring or fall when the weather is milder. Summer can get pretty hot, and winter is chilly, which might make the bus ride less comfortable. I did it in early October, and the leaves were beautiful, perfect setting for a gangster story!

Just did the Chicago Gangster Tour - Amazing Experience!
I recently joined the Chicago Gangster Tour with a group of friends, and wow, it was such a blast! The guides really get into character, and the stories about Capone and the St. Valentine's Day Massacre were super engaging. We got to see the Biograph Theater too! Definitely worth it if you're interested in history or just want a fun afternoon. It’s a nice mix of education and entertainment. Oh, and they do raffles during the tour for some cool prizes!
Considering the Gangster Tour as a gift - Any thoughts?
Looking to give my dad the Chicago Gangster Tour for his birthday. He loves history and gangster movies! Has anyone done this tour? Is it as cool as it sounds? Also, do you think he’d enjoy the whole acting part or find it cheesy? Just want to make sure it’s a hit. Any tips would be awesome!
