Q&A
A: Yes, kids can definitely join the Chicago's West Side Foodie Ride! It’s a family-friendly tour, but they do recommend that children be at least 12 years old for safety reasons. Just make sure they’re comfortable riding a bike for a few hours. The tour is fun for the whole family!
A: Definitely wear comfortable clothing and shoes since you'll be biking for a few hours. Layers are a good idea too since the weather can change. I recommend wearing athletic clothes and maybe a light jacket if you're biking in the morning. And don’t forget sunscreen!
A: If the weather is unsafe for biking, they usually will reschedule your tour without any extra fee. Bobby’s Bike Hike is great about communicating this too! Just make sure to check your email the day before the tour for any updates. They want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience!

Just did the Chicago's West Side Foodie Ride – Amazing Experience!
I just got back from the West Side Foodie Ride with Bobby's Bike Hike and wow, it was fantastic! We explored Fulton Market and the Ukrainian Village and tasted some incredible local dishes like pierogies and authentic Chicago-style pizza. The guide was super knowledgeable, and biking along the Lakefront Trail was just beautiful. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique gift or even just a fun weekend activity!
Considering the Foodie Ride as a gift for my parents!
I’m looking at getting this bike tour for my parents’ anniversary! They love trying new foods, and I think this would be a great way for them to explore the West Side. Has anyone done it with older folks? How did they handle the bike riding? Any tips to make it special?
