Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the walking tour?

A: No age limit! The tour is suitable for all ages. However, keep in mind that it's a walking tour, so I'd recommend comfortable shoes, especially for younger kids. If you're bringing someone elderly, just be cautious of their mobility.

Q: What should I wear for the Art Deco walking tour?

A: Comfort is key! I'd suggest wearing comfortable shoes since you'll be walking quite a bit. Dress for the weather, too—layers are best in case it gets chilly. And don’t forget sunscreen if it’s sunny!

Q: What if it rains on the tour day?

A: The tour runs rain or shine! If it's light rain, they usually still go ahead, but they do provide some indoor segments if needed. Just bring an umbrella or a raincoat to stay comfortable.

Just did the Chicago Art Deco Tour—what a treat!

I just got back from the Art Deco Skyscrapers Loop tour, and wow, it was amazing! Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the history of the buildings come alive. We saw some really iconic spots like the Chicago Board of Trade and learned so much about the Art Deco style. Definitely wear comfy shoes because you’ll walk a lot. I’d recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves architecture or history! It’s totally worth it.

Thinking about gifting the Art Deco walking tour!

I’m considering giving this walking tour as a birthday gift for my dad. He’s a huge fan of Chicago architecture and loves history. Has anyone taken this tour recently? Just want to make sure it’s worth it. I see it’s free, which is an awesome bonus!
