The tour departs at 6pm from our central office in Midtown Manhattan. From there our guide, who speaks in Italian, will accompany you to the southwestern part of Brooklyn, reaching the heart of the Dyker Heights and Bay Ridge neighborhoods. Many citizens begin their Christmas light display as soon as the sun goes down, and it lasts until they go to sleep. So when we arrive in the area, we will be able to see these extraordinary decorations in all their splendor. Children will be particularly enchanted: so many bright Santa Clauses! At the end of the three and a half hour tour, back in Manhattan, the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center will seem like a trifle (the staff says: it's still fantastic!) compared to what Dyker Heights and Bay Ridge have to offer. One last tip: it can get very cold in New York in December. To fully enjoy this tour we recommend you dress warmly!

Q&A

Q: Do they provide blankets or anything to keep warm on the tour?

A: Unfortunately, they don't provide blankets, but I recommend bringing your own hot cocoa in a thermos! Dress in layers to stay warm, and don't forget gloves and a hat—it can get really chilly in December, especially when you're standing outside admiring the lights.

Q: What time do we get back to Midtown after the tour?

A: The tour lasts about three and a half hours, so you should be back in Midtown around 9:30 PM. Just enough time to grab a late-night snack or hot drink after taking in all those lights!

Q: Is this tour suitable for kids? Any age limits?

A: Yes, this tour is perfect for kids! The dazzling lights in Dyker Heights are sure to captivate them, and there's no specific age limit. Just make sure they bundle up since it can get cold. I've taken my kids multiple times, and they always love it!

Thinking of gifting the Christmas Lights Tour!

I just found out about the Christmas Lights Tour in Brooklyn and it sounds amazing! I think it would be a perfect gift for my parents who love holiday decorations. The fact that the guide speaks Italian is kinda cool too. Has anyone done this tour? How early should I book it before the holidays? I want to ensure we have a good spot.

Just went on the Christmas Lights Tour!

I can't recommend the Christmas Lights Tour enough! The Dyker Heights displays were beyond anything I imagined. It was so worth the ticket. Just bundle up, because we were freezing by the end, but it felt magical. I was in awe of the creativity of the decorations! If you're considering this tour, just do it!
