Using the Cincinnati Streetcar loop as a route, this tour will take you by nearly every major attraction in Downtown Cincinnati, with stops at top attractions, including Fountain Square and Findlay Market. However, this is not a typical 'general history of the city through time and here are the top attractions and cultural experiences' tour. This tour is focused on transit and infrastructure, given by a local aware of and involved in transportation and infrastructure projects in the city. Highlighting the city's greatest infrastructure accomplishments, as well it's biggest failures, this tour will focus on the Riverfront Transit Center, Cincinnati Subway, Cincinnati Union Terminal, as well as Kenyon-Barr (urban renewal), and Highway Construction and Expansion. I will also share some of the plans for future projects. Tours are guided by myself, Fenley, an Urban Planning student at the University of Cincinnati.

Q&A

Q: Are kids allowed on this tour, or is it more for adults?

A: Yes, kids are welcome on the Cincinnati Streetcar Tour! It's a great experience for families, especially if your kids have an interest in how cities work. Just keep in mind that the tour does focus on infrastructure, which might be a little dry for some younger ones. But they’ll definitely enjoy the streetcar ride and the sights of downtown!

Q: What's the best time of year to do this tour? Any weather issues to think about?

A: Spring and fall are ideal for this tour! The weather's usually mild, making it pleasant to be outside and walk around for stops. In summer, it can get hot, so bring water and wear sunscreen. If it rains, they might reschedule, so check the policy when booking!

Q: How long does the tour usually last, and is it wheelchair accessible?

A: The tour typically lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on how many stops are included. It's mostly accessible, but it can depend on the streetcar and the sidewalks. It's best to contact Fenley directly for specific accessibility questions to make sure it fits your needs!

Just booked the Cincinnati Streetcar Tour for my boyfriend's birthday!

Super excited! I think he'll love the focus on infrastructure since he’s an engineering major. Plus, I hear Fenley is a great guide. I’m a bit concerned about the weather since it’ll be in October, but I love the fall vibes. Has anyone been on this tour recently? Any tips?

Has anyone tried to reschedule the Cincinnati Streetcar Tour?

I booked it for next week, but now I can't make it. I'm wondering how easy it is to reschedule? Any experiences would be super helpful. I don’t want to lose my booking!
