Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the City Bus Tour?

A: There's no strict age limit for the City Bus Tour, but it's best for kids 6 and up. Some younger children might get bored since it lasts 90 minutes and involves a lot of history. If you think your kiddo can sit through it, they might actually enjoy spotting landmarks like Rainbow Row!

Q: What should we wear for the City Bus Tour? Is it hot in Charleston?

A: Dress casually! Charleston can get pretty hot, especially in summer, so lightweight, breathable clothing is best. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen if you're sensitive to the sun. Also, comfy shoes since you might do some walking at the museum afterwards!

Q: Can this tour be rescheduled if something comes up?

A: Yes! If you need to reschedule, just reach out to Gray Line Charleston at least 24 hours before your tour time. They’re usually pretty flexible, especially if there’s an emergency. Just keep an eye on their policies for any last-minute changes.

Just got back from the City Bus Tour — loved it!

I took the City Bus Tour in Charleston last weekend and wow, it was amazing! Our guide was super knowledgeable and funny. We stopped at over 100 points of interest, and the ride felt super comfortable in the air-conditioned minibus. Plus, getting admission to the Charleston Museum was a great bonus! Totally recommend this as a gift for history buffs or anyone visiting Charleston. Pricing can’t be beaten either!

Considering the City Bus Tour for a family gift!

I’m looking at the City Bus Tour in Charleston as a gift for my parents. They love history and this seems like the perfect combo with the museum admission. I just hope it’s not too long for them since they’re in their late 60s. Anyone know if it's too physically demanding?
