Q&A
A: Yes, you can reschedule your City Cruises dinner cruise if the weather does not cooperate. They usually reach out to you a day before if they foresee any issues. Just keep an eye on your email. We had to change our date because of rain, and it was super easy!
A: The dress code is upscale casual. You’ll see a mix of nice dresses and dress shirts, but it’s not super formal like a black-tie event. I wore a nice maxi dress and felt totally comfortable. Just make sure to bring a light jacket in case it gets chilly on the water!
A: The dinner includes a chef-prepared plated meal, and they do offer vegetarian options on request. When we booked, I specified dietary needs and they were super accommodating. The food was impressive too — great presentation!

Thinking of gifting the Fireworks Dinner Cruise!
Hey everyone, I’m considering the City Cruises Fireworks Premier Dinner Cruise for my partner's birthday. The idea of dining while watching the Navy Pier fireworks sounds magical! Just wondering if anyone has been on this cruise and how the food is? Also, how's the overall experience? I've heard mixed reviews about being on the water, especially with motion sickness. Any tips?
Fireworks Dinner Cruise Experience!
Just got back from the City Cruises Fireworks Premier Dinner Cruise and WOW! If you’re in Chicago, this is a must-do. The plated dinner was delicious, and the DJ played all the right songs. The fireworks from the lake view were absolutely breathtaking! If you’re thinking of gifting this experience, don’t hesitate. But remember to dress warm if you're on the top deck; it can get chilly!
