Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but I’d say it's best suited for kids aged 10 and up. The tour includes a lot of historical discussions and complex themes that younger kids might not fully appreciate. However, if your kids have an interest in history, they might really enjoy it! Just make sure to check with the provider to confirm specifics.
A: Yes, they do allow for rescheduling in case of bad weather! You can usually contact them the day before to confirm if it's safe to go ahead. Just make sure to check their policy when booking! You wouldn't want to miss out on all the cool sites if the weather's nice.
A: The refreshments are actually pretty decent! They typically provide water bottles and some snacks like granola bars. It’s not a full meal, but it’s enough to keep you going between stops, especially since lunch is included too, which I thought was really nice! Just don’t expect a gourmet experience.

Just booked the Civil War tour in Atlanta! Any tips?
Hey everyone! I just booked the Civil War & Battlegrounds Tour for my dad's birthday. He’s a huge history buff, and I think he’ll love all the stops! I’m just wondering what to expect in terms of how long it’ll last and whether we need to dress a certain way. Also, any must-see spots I should add to our itinerary? Thanks!
Anyone else done the Civil War & Battlegrounds Tour?
So, I just got back from the Civil War tour in Atlanta, and wow! The guide was super knowledgeable, and we got to see places like Kennesaw National Park and Smith's Plantation. The lunch included was actually pretty good, and the whole experience felt really immersive. If you're on the fence about it, I totally recommend it!
