Q&A
A: It's best to book a few weeks in advance, especially during the summer months when Martha's Vineyard gets really busy. The tours can fill up quickly, so locking in your spot early is smart! Also, keep an eye on cancellation policies just in case plans change.
A: The Marginal Way is pretty easy to walk, but I'd recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes since it's about a mile long. Sneakers are totally fine. It's a beautiful path, so you'll want to enjoy the views without worrying about your feet!
A: Lunch isn’t included in the tour price, but you’ll have free time in Portland’s Old Port, where there are plenty of great seafood spots to choose from. I recommend budgeting around $15-25 for lunch, depending on where you decide to eat!

Just did the Martha's Vineyard Day Trip from Boston, and it was amazing!
Hey everyone! I just got back from the Classic Martha's Vineyard day trip and it was such a blast. We started off by cruising through Portland, which was super cute and had awesome vibes. The Marginal Way was breathtaking, and I couldn’t believe how beautiful the coast looked! Plenty of time to grab some lobster rolls in Old Port too. Honestly, highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great day out!
Looking for advice on the Martha's Vineyard trip for a birthday gift!
I want to surprise my partner with the Classic Martha's Vineyard day escape from Boston for their birthday. They love the ocean and I think this would be perfect! Just wondering if anyone has advice on the best time to go or anything we should plan for. Also, what’s the weather usually like in early June?
