Q&A

Q: Can you bring your dog on the canoe?

A: Yes! Dogs are allowed on the clear canoes as long as they’re on a leash. Just make sure your pup is comfortable with paddling and water. It’s a great way to enjoy the wildlife together, but keep an eye on them to ensure they don’t jump overboard!

Q: What happens if it rains? Can you reschedule?

A: If there’s bad weather, especially heavy rain or storms, you can reschedule for a later date without any issues. Just make sure to check the weather in advance, and reach out to the provider for the best options. They're pretty flexible about that!

Q: Is this good for kids? What age do you think is best?

A: It’s definitely kid-friendly! I'd say ages 6 and up would be ideal, especially since they need to wear life jackets. The clear canoes make it super fun for kids to see the fish and other wildlife underneath. Just keep an eye on them, as paddling can be a workout!

Just did the Clear Canoeing at Silver Springs and WOW!

I went clear canoeing last weekend at Silver Springs and it was incredible! We saw so many manatees and even some monkeys! The water was super clear, so it was easy to see the wildlife below. Just a heads up, bring sunscreen and maybe a hat because there’s not much shade. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique outdoor experience!

Thinking of gifting clear canoeing - any tips?

I’m considering this clear canoeing experience as a gift for my parents. They love nature and wildlife, but I’m worried about them managing the paddling part. Is it difficult? Also, how long does the experience typically last?
