Q&A
A: Definitely wear quick-drying clothes! The wetsuit they provide is great, but a swimsuit underneath is ideal. Also, bring some water shoes or old sneakers that you don’t mind getting wet. Don’t forget sunscreen and a pair of sunglasses with a strap – it gets sunny out there!
A: Yes, there’s a minimum age of 12 for this trip since it's intermediate to advanced. If your kid is adventurous and can handle the rapids, they might be fine, but it’s always good to check with the provider first about their experience level.
A: If the weather looks too dangerous, they’ll usually reschedule or give you a refund. Make sure to call ahead and check the conditions the day before. They’re pretty good about keeping everyone safe!

Just got back from the Clear Creek rafting trip, and WOW!
I went on the Clear Creek Advanced/Intermediate rafting trip last weekend and it was a blast! The rapids were thrilling, especially ‘Deliverance’ and ‘Outer Limits’ – my heart was racing the whole time! The guides were super knowledgeable and made sure we all felt safe. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an adventure near Denver!
Thinking about gifting the Clear Creek rafting experience!
I’m considering this for my husband’s birthday. He loves adventure and I think he’d have a great time. Any thoughts on the difficulty level? Is it manageable for someone who's a bit out of shape?
