Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the clear kayaks during the bioluminescence tour?

A: Yes, there is a weight limit of around 400 pounds for the clear kayaks. So, if you're planning to go with a partner, just make sure your combined weight is under that limit. Also, they recommend booking in advance, especially during peak season, since the tours can fill up fast.

Q: What should we wear for the bioluminescence kayak tour? Is it cold at night?

A: It can get a bit chilly after sunset, so I’d recommend wearing layers. A lightweight jacket or a long-sleeve shirt works well. Also, flip-flops or water shoes are great because you might get wet while boarding the kayak. Just keep it comfy!

Q: How do rescheduling and cancellation work for this kayak tour?

A: If you need to reschedule, they ask for at least 24 hours' notice. Otherwise, you may lose your booking. Cancellations due to weather are very common, and they'll usually offer a refund or reschedule option, so you’re covered there. Just keep an eye on the weather as your tour date approaches!

Just booked the clear kayak bioluminescence tour in Cocoa Beach, any tips?

I’m so pumped! I just bought tickets for the bioluminescence tour for next Saturday. It’s for my girlfriend and I, and I really hope it’s as magical as everyone says. I heard the water glows and you can see all the fish light up! What should we bring? Any must-dos or things to avoid? Thanks!

Finally did the bioluminescence kayak tour and it was unreal!

OMG, you guys, we went last week and it was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done! The water was glowing bright blue when we paddled through. The guides were super friendly and told us a ton about the ecosystem. Bring dark clothes—seriously, it helps so much! Have any of you ever seen anything like this before? Planning to do it again soon!
