Q&A
A: Kids aged 5 and older can join the tour, but they need to be accompanied by an adult. If they’re younger than that, they might not be able to paddle their own kayak, which could make for a tough experience, especially in narrow canals. Just check with the provider beforehand about any specific rules!
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, they usually allow you to reschedule for a different date, but it's best to call and confirm that with them. They prioritize safety, so if it's stormy or really rainy, they'll likely cancel the tour and work with you on rescheduling. Just keep an eye on the forecast!
A: Wear something comfortable and quick-drying! Light layers are best since it can get cooler as the sun sets. Also, don’t forget your sunscreen and maybe a hat. Water shoes or sandals with straps work great, but flip flops can be tricky on a kayak.

Thinking about gifting a sunset kayak tour in Winter Park!
I’m considering giving my parents a sunset kayak tour through the Winter Park Chain of Lakes for their anniversary. They love nature, and I think the serene setting and wild life will be perfect! I’ve heard the houses along the canals are stunning too. Has anyone done this tour? How was the sunset? Any tips to make it special?
Just went on the Clear Kayak Sunset Tour - amazing experience!
Wow, I just got back from the Clear Kayak Sunset Tour and it was incredible! The canals were so peaceful and all the wildlife was a treat. We even saw a couple of herons! The guides were super chill and gave great tips. I can’t recommend this enough if you're near Orlando. A must-do for nature lovers!
