Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but they recommend kids be at least 5 years old to enjoy it fully. The kayaks are super stable, so it's great for families. Just make sure your kid can wear a life vest comfortably! And yes, it's beginner-friendly, so no worries if they're new to kayaking.
A: You’ll want to wear a swimsuit with a rash guard for sun protection—especially since they provide those! If it rains, it should still be fine unless conditions are severe. Just bring a towel and a change of clothes for afterward because you might get splashed a bit.
A: Absolutely! They’re pretty flexible with rescheduling. Just give them a heads up at least 24 hours in advance, and you should be good. I've had to do this myself and they were super accommodating.

Just did the clear kayak tour and it was AMAZING!
I took the clear kayak tour last week in Maui and I can’t recommend it enough. We saw so many colorful fish and even a turtle! The guides were super knowledgeable and made it so much fun. The pontoon attachments really made me feel safe, and the fresh pineapple at the end was a perfect touch. If you’re thinking about gifting this experience, do it! It’s a unique way to see the ocean.
Thinking of gifting the clear kayak tour!
I’m considering this tour as a gift for my partner’s birthday. They love the ocean and trying new things. I’ve never done kayaking before. Is it easy for beginners? Also, what’s the best time of year to go if we want to see whales?
