Q&A
A: I'd say late spring to early fall is ideal! The weather's great, and the water's usually calm, especially around Lake McDonald and Hungry Horse Reservoir. Just be aware that summer can get busy, so try to go during weekdays if you can. I went in late June, and it was perfect!
A: Yes, Glacier Clear Water offers delivery to certain locations! Just give them a call to sort out the details. I didn't have a car either, so this was a lifesaver for my trip. They brought everything right to my campsite!
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be able to swim and feel comfortable on the water. I took my 10-year-old, and she had a blast! Make sure they wear a life jacket and maybe some water shoes, as it can get slippery. Just keep an eye on them, especially if it’s windy.

Thinking about gifting clear paddleboard rentals in Glacier Park!
I'm considering getting this paddleboard rental experience for my sister's birthday. I've heard that Sunset LED paddleboarding at Lake McDonald is breathtaking. Has anyone done this? What’s the vibe like? Would it be a good gift for someone who's not super experienced with water sports?
Just got back from paddleboarding at Hungry Horse!
Oh man, I just did a clear paddleboard rental there, and it was one of the best experiences! The water was crystal clear, and paddling around felt like floating in a dream. We saw some wildlife too! I highly recommend the sunset rental; it’s totally worth it. Just make sure to bring sunscreen!
