Q&A
A: Nope, there aren’t any specific age restrictions for the Cod, Tea and Candy tour! It’s a family-friendly experience, so you can bring kids along. Just keep in mind that some food stops might not be super appealing to younger kids, but there are plenty of tasty options they’ll enjoy. Also, you might want to check with the guide if you have any dietary concerns.
A: Dress comfortably! You'll be walking around Boston, so wear good walking shoes. It can get a bit warm in the summer, but layers are a good idea since you might stop inside some places. Just check the weather beforehand, and maybe bring a light jacket if it looks cool. Enjoy!
A: Yes, you can reschedule the tour! Just reach out to the provider, Eating American, at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible, but it’s always good to give them a heads-up if you need to change dates. Just keep an eye on your tickets for any specific rescheduling policies.

Thinking of gifting the Boston Food History Tour. Worth it?
Hey everyone! I’m considering this Cod, Tea and Candy tour for my sister's birthday. She's obsessed with food and history. I love the idea of tasting local dishes while learning about Boston’s past. But I’m worried about her having enough food since it says it’s equivalent to lunch. Has anyone done this? What’s it really like?
Just did the Cod, Tea and Candy tour in Boston!
OMG, I just got back from the Cod, Tea and Candy tour, and it was AMAZING! We stopped at a bunch of cool places, tasted some incredible cod chowder, and learned so much about how molasses impacted the city. The candy stop was a sweet surprise! Highly recommend for anyone who loves food and history.
