Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for this walking tour?

A: There's no specific age limit for the Colonial History walking tour, but it's recommended for kids ages 10 and up. The tour includes some historical discussions that might not hold younger children's interest. If you're bringing kids, just make sure they're into history!

Q: What should we wear for the walking tour? Is it casual?

A: Definitely keep it casual! Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking a lot. Weather can change quickly in NYC, so layering is key. I also suggest bringing a light jacket if you’re going in the fall.

Q: How do rescheduling and cancellations work if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather is really bad, you’ll be able to reschedule your tour for another day with no extra charge. The provider is pretty flexible with that since they want everyone to have a good time. Just make sure to check their policy on their website before booking!

Thinking about gifting the Colonial History tour in NYC!

I just found this Colonial History walking tour in Manhattan and I'm seriously considering it as a gift for my dad. He loves history and I think it would be great to explore the Financial District in a new way. Has anyone done this? What was your favorite part? Is it worth it?

Anyone else surprised by the history in the Financial District?

I just went on the Colonial History tour, and wow, I had no idea there were so many historic sites in the Financial District. I mean, who knew Wall Street had such roots? The guide was super knowledgeable and made it fun! I want to buy a few gift vouchers for friends to join me next time!
