Q&A
A: Great question! Kids are definitely welcome on the Gold Rush Tour, so it makes for a fun family outing. Just check with the provider about any specific age restrictions, but generally, as long as they're accompanied by an adult, they can join in on the adventure!
A: Yes, you can usually reschedule! The provider is pretty flexible with weather-related cancellations. Just make sure to call ahead to check the available dates. They want everyone to have a good time, so they understand if the weather isn’t cooperating.
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get a bit chilly in the mine, but the outside temps can vary. Comfortable hiking shoes are a must since you’ll be on uneven surfaces. Also, bring a light jacket just in case!

Thinking of gifting the Gold Rush Tour — any insights?
I’m considering getting the Colorado Gold Rush Mountain and Mine tour for my dad’s birthday! He loves history and the outdoors. I've heard great things about the scenic views in Clear Creek Canyon. Has anyone done this? How was the mine tour? Any tips?
Anyone else have a blast on the Gold Rush tour?
I recently went on the Gold Rush Mountain and Mine tour from Denver with some friends, and wow, it was so much fun! The guide was really knowledgeable, and the ghost town was eerie yet cool! We even got to try our luck at panning for gold! Would totally do it again.
