This is a Full Day Tour, starting from the Denver Metro area, enjoy the sites and scenic drive as we explore the Peak-to-Peak highway to Estes Park, with stops in Blackhawk/Central City, Nederland. With a string of popular attractions along the way - Rocky Mountain National Park, Golden Gate Canyon State Park, Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests, the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area, Eldora Ski Resort - combine recreation with nature preservation. The gravel roads crisscrossing the main highway lead to high-country lakes, trailheads, campgrounds, the Moffat Tunnel's east portal, and ghost towns at Hesse and Apex. Established in 1918 this is Colorado's oldest scenic byway.

Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Peak-to-Peak Tour? Is it colder in the mountains?

A: Definitely dress in layers! The weather can change quickly in the mountains, even in the fall. I'd recommend a light jacket, comfortable shoes for any walking, and maybe a beanie if you're sensitive to the cold. You'll be stopping at some scenic spots, so you might want to be comfortable for some light hiking.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour, or is it kid-friendly?

A: The Peak-to-Peak Tour is pretty family-friendly! There’s no strict age limit, but younger kids might get bored or restless on the drive. Just keep in mind some areas have hiking involved, so you'll want to make sure your kids can handle that. It's great for kids who love nature!

Q: What if it rains on the day of our tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If it looks like rain, you can usually reschedule if you contact the provider ahead of time. They’re pretty good about accommodating changes, especially if the weather's not cooperating for the scenic views. Just make sure to check their policy when you book!

Thinking about gifting the Peak-to-Peak Tour for my parents' anniversary!

I think my parents would really enjoy the Peak-to-Peak Tour. They love nature and photography, and I saw that it includes some photography instruction! Has anyone gifted this experience? How did it go? Should I go for it?
