Q&A
A: Great question! Kids as young as 4 can join on this float trip, which makes it perfect for families. Just keep in mind they should be able to follow basic safety instructions from the guides. If you’re unsure, it’s best to check with Great Venture Tours directly.
A: Yes! Great Venture Tours allows rescheduling if you give them at least 48 hours' notice. Just make sure to reach out to them directly, and they’ll accommodate you as best they can. Always good to have that flexibility!
A: You’ll want to wear comfortable, quick-drying clothes and definitely a swimsuit. It can get warm, so don’t forget sunscreen! As for snacks, you can bring your own, but they do provide a nice lunch, so plan accordingly!

Just got back from the Colorado River Float Trip from Flagstaff, and it was amazing!
We had such a great time on the Colorado River Float Trip! The guides were super knowledgeable about the area and pointed out all these cool petroglyphs. The stop at Horseshoe Bend was breathtaking. We enjoyed a perfect picnic lunch right on the river bank. Highly recommend this for families or anyone looking for a chill day outdoors. I’m considering gifting this experience to my parents for their anniversary!
Thinking of gifting the Colorado River Float Trip, but is it suitable for older folks?
I’m considering this float trip for my parents who are in their late 60s. They love nature but aren’t super adventurous. I’m curious if it’s a relaxing experience or more physical? Also, how accessible is it for older folks?
