Q&A

Q: Can I bring my 6-year-old on this trip? What are the requirements for kids?

A: Yes, you can definitely bring your 6-year-old! Just keep in mind that Arizona law requires all children under 8 to be in a car seat or booster seat. Make sure to check with your tour guide if they provide those, or if you need to bring your own. It's a great family outing with lots of beautiful views!

Q: What should we wear for the float trip? Is it cold on the water?

A: I'd recommend wearing a swimsuit under light, quick-drying clothes since you'll probably get splashed a bit. It can be warm on the river, so a hat and sunglasses are also smart! It does cool down a little in the evening, so maybe bring a light jacket just in case.

Q: Is the trip suitable for elderly people? What’s the difficulty level?

A: Yes, it's quite suitable for elderly folks! The float trip is pretty easy-going and mostly smooth water, so it’s not physically demanding. Just make sure they’re comfortable sitting for a few hours and can get in and out of the boat without issues. It’s a relaxing way to enjoy the stunning scenery!

Thinking about gifting the Colorado River float trip! Is it worth it?

I’m considering this float trip from Flagstaff for a family gift. I love that it includes lunch and stops at the Cameron Trading Post! I’ve heard the views of the Painted Desert are amazing. Has anyone done this? What’s the best part? Any tips for first-timers?

Just got back from the Colorado River float trip!

Wow, what an experience! We did the float trip last weekend, and it was absolutely beautiful. The views going through Glen Canyon were breathtaking. The lunch they provided was surprisingly good too! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a chill day on the water.
