Q&A

Q: How do I reschedule if the weather turns bad?

A: If the weather looks rough, you can usually reschedule by contacting Ma Pa Tours directly. They’re pretty flexible but it's best to give them a call at least a day before your trip. Just keep an eye on the forecast; they’ll let you know if it’s safe to float or if a change is needed.

Q: Is this okay for kids? My son is 7.

A: Yes, kids can definitely join as long as they’re in a car seat or booster seat since they’re under 8. The float is pretty calm, so it should be fun for him! Just make sure he wears sunscreen and you bring some water toys for him to enjoy.

Q: What should we wear on the float trip?

A: Dress comfortably! I’d recommend a swimsuit and quick-dry shorts. It gets warm, but you might also want a light long sleeve or hat for sun protection. Water shoes are a good idea too; they’ll help with the rocks by the shore.

Thinking of gifting the Colorado River Float Trip!

I’m looking at this float trip for my parents’ anniversary. They love scenic views and relaxing outings. The idea of a small group sounds perfect for them since they don’t like crowded tours. Has anyone done this? What did you think of the lunch they provided? I wanna make it special!

Just did the float trip, and it was amazing!

Did the Colorado River float trip last week and wow, what a day! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the area. The views of the canyon were breathtaking. I loved how it wasn’t crowded. The lunch by the river was the cherry on top. Highly recommend this for any outdoor lover!
