Q&A
A: There's no official weight limit for the tour itself, but the vehicle is designed to be comfortable for all sizes. Just make sure your friend can manage some walking and hiking – the trails vary in difficulty. It's mostly accessible, but some areas can be a bit steep.
A: The tour usually includes granola bars and light snacks, but they can accommodate dietary restrictions if you let them know in advance. Just mention any allergies or preferences when booking, and they should have options ready for you.
A: Late spring to early fall is the best time! The waterfalls are more impressive with the melting snow, but the views are gorgeous year-round. They usually run the tour rain or shine, but check the cancellation policy before booking just in case. If it gets too dangerous, they’ll reschedule you.

Just went on the Columbia Gorge Waterfalls and Mt. Hood tour - what a day!
I just did the full-day tour from Portland, and it was AMAZING! We saw so many stunning waterfalls; Multnomah Falls was a highlight! Our guide was super knowledgeable, sharing cool local history and tips. We even stopped at Timberline Lodge for lunch — the views from there are unreal! I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a taste of Oregon's beauty. Just be ready for some hiking, but it’s totally worth it!
Thinking about gifting the Columbia Gorge tour - is it good for all ages?
I want to get this for my parents for their anniversary, but I’m worried about it being too strenuous for them. Are the hikes manageable? They’re in their late 60s but active. Also, what’s the vibe like on the tour? I want them to have a great time!
