Q&A

Q: Are there age limits for this self-guided ghost seminar game?

A: There aren't any strict age limits for this experience! It's suitable for all ages, but kids might need a bit of help with the riddles. It’s a great way for families to explore Columbia's campus together. Just keep in mind, some of the stories might be a little spooky for younger kids, so gauge their comfort level beforehand.

Q: Can this experience be rescheduled if we can't make it on the day we planned?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just message the support team via the link they provide when you book. They’re pretty responsive and will work with you to find a new time. Remember, since it’s self-guided, you can generally pick a time that works best for you.

Q: What should we wear for the Columbia ghost seminar? Is it mostly outside?

A: You should wear comfy shoes since you’ll be walking around the campus a lot! The experience is mostly outside, but you'll also go inside some buildings depending on the clues. Dress in layers; NYC weather can change quickly! A light jacket is a good idea if you go in the evening.

Discussions

Just did the Columbia Ghost Seminar! Here's my take!

I took the Columbia self-guided ghost seminar last week with some friends, and it was such a blast! The riddles were challenging but fun, and we learned so much about the campus legends. We started at the Butler Library and wandered around for about 3 hours. Make sure to bring snacks because you'll want to take breaks for photos and enjoy the views! I gifted this to my friends for graduation, and they loved it!

Is the ghost seminar a good date idea?

I’m considering the ghost seminar for a date night with my girlfriend. We both love a little mystery and exploring new places. Does anyone know if it’s romantic enough or should I look for something else? I want to make it special!
