Upon arrival at the Valor in the Pacific National Monument, you’ll have a chance to explore the museum filled with historical artifacts and documents that further set the stage of the attack on Pearl Harbor. You’ll also see a historic film featuring archive footage of the actual attack! Then, you’ll board an official United States Navy vessel for a ride across the bay to the site of the Arizona Memorial–suspended above the sunken battleship where 1,177 sailors gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this Pearl Harbor tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but younger kids might not grasp the historical significance as well. Many families take kids as young as 5-6, and they do provide kid-friendly explanations. Just make sure they can handle being on a boat for the Arizona Memorial part, which might be a bit long for some little ones.

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: Rain usually doesn't cancel the tour, but if it's severe, they might reschedule. Just be sure to check your email or call them ahead of time. The museum and movie continue rain or shine, and the boat ride can still happen unless it’s dangerous out.

Q: How is the parking situation for this tour if I don’t stay in Waikiki?

A: It's best to take the shuttle if you can, but if you choose to drive, there are parking lots near the harbor, though they fill up fast! Expect to pay around $10-15 for parking. Just make sure you arrive early to snag a spot.

Considering the Pearl Harbor tour for my dad's birthday!

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about booking the Complete Pearl Harbor Experience for my dad’s birthday next month. He loves history and I think he’d really appreciate this. Just wondering if the guided tour is worth it or if I should just send him on his own? Also, how’s the boat ride to the memorial? Thanks!

My experience with the Pearl Harbor tour—absolutely unforgettable!

Just got back from the Pearl Harbor tour and wow! The guides were so knowledgeable and the museum was packed with history. The boat ride over was emotional, seeing the names of the soldiers was a big moment. If you’re on the fence about it, just do it! I can’t recommend this enough!
