Q&A

Q: Can this scavenger hunt be done in winter? What if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, you can do the Crazy Copper Mountain Scavenger Hunt in winter! Just make sure to check the weather beforehand since it’s all outdoors. If there are extreme conditions, you might be able to reschedule; just reach out to Alley Kat Adventures. They’re pretty flexible about it, so don't worry too much!

Q: How many people can join this scavenger hunt? Is there a minimum age?

A: You can have teams of any size, but it's usually more fun with 2-10 people. As for age, there's no strict limit, but younger kids might need some adult help to decipher clues. I'd say it's great for ages 10 and up!

Q: What should we wear for the scavenger hunt? Is it more walking or running?

A: Wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be doing a decent amount of walking. Dress in layers too because the temperature can change throughout the day! It’s not a race, but you’ll want to keep moving to get the best score. So, casual but functional is key!

Thinking about gifting the Crazy Copper Mountain Scavenger Hunt!

I’m really considering this scavenger hunt for my sister's birthday! She loves puzzles and the outdoors, plus it’s in Breckenridge, which is gorgeous this time of year. Has anyone done it? What’s the best part? I want her to have an unforgettable experience!

Crazy Copper Mountain Scavenger Hunt - Has anyone competed?

I’m curious if anyone's actually competed in this scavenger hunt? I heard you can race against other cities. How does that even work? Is it more competitive or just for fun? I want to know what to expect!
