We are an Austin, TX-based global custom event design company offering scavenger hunts and other events in 300+ cities in North America and beyond. Our specially hand-crafted adventures are equal parts tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, and social experiment! Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city that day. Q: Does this scavenger hunt have any age restrictions? I'm thinking of gifting it to my kids.

A: There aren’t strict age limits, but it’s best suited for ages 10 and up. Younger kids might get bored without adult supervision as they need some guidance on interpreting the clues. You can definitely involve the whole family for a fun day out in Monterey & Carmel, though!

Q: How does the leaderboard work? Can teams from different cities really compete?

A: Yes! The leaderboard includes teams from all participating cities. It's really fun to see how you stack up against others. You can even keep extending your hunt for free if you want to improve your score. It’s a great motivator!

Q: What do you wear for the scavenger hunt? Is it outdoors? What if it rains?

A: It's mostly outdoors, so wear comfy shoes and clothes that can handle a little walking. If it rains, you might want to bring a waterproof jacket, but they usually have a rescheduling policy if the weather's really bad. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Just finished the scavenger hunt in Carmel – it was awesome!

I just did the Creative Carmel Scavenger Hunt, and let me tell you, it was such a blast! We uncovered hidden gems around Monterey and had a live host guiding us through it all. The clues were tricky but fun, and we even made it onto the leaderboard! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun day out, whether solo or with a group!
