Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Creepy Tales ghost tour?

A: There's no strict age limit for the tour! However, the stories can get a bit spooky and may not be suitable for younger kids. I'd say it's best for teens and up. Just keep in mind it’s mostly walking around the campus at night and some tales can get pretty grisly, so use your judgment if you're bringing someone young.

Q: What's the best way to dress for the Creepy Tales tour? It's at night, right?

A: Definitely dress for the weather since it can get chilly in the evening! Layers are your best friend. Comfy shoes are a must since you’ll be walking around Monroe Park. And if it's been rainy, be careful as the ground can be slippery. You might wanna bring a light jacket or sweater.

Q: What if it rains? Will the tour still happen?

A: They usually go rain or shine, but if the weather is really bad, they might cancel or reschedule. It’s best to check with Haunts of Richmond before you head out. They’re pretty responsive! If you’re worried, you can always call the day of the tour to confirm.

I went on the Creepy Tales on Campus ghost tour in Richmond last weekend and it was incredible! Our guide was super knowledgeable, sharing some crazy stories about Monroe Park and the old hospital dorm. It was a tad spooky, but honestly, that made it fun! The whole campus feels so different at night. Highly recommend it for a fun and creepy night out!

Thinking of gifting the Creepy Tales tour—any advice?

I’m looking to get this ghost tour for my friend who's really into spooky stuff. Do you think it’s worth it? I read it’s free, but is it still good? What should I expect?
