Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Creole Architecture tour? Thinking of getting this for my teens!

A: No specific age restrictions! The tour is suitable for all ages, but I'd recommend it for teens who are at least 13. It’s a lot more enjoyable if they can engage with the guide and participate in discussions. Just keep in mind the walking involved, so comfortable shoes are a must!

Q: What should we wear for the Marigny tour? Is it mostly outside?

A: Great question! The tour is mostly outdoors, so wear something comfortable and appropriate for the weather. I’d recommend lightweight clothing and a hat for sunny days. Also, good walking shoes are a must since you’ll be strolling around the neighborhood. If it’s rainy, bring an umbrella!

Q: What happens if it rains? Can we reschedule the tour?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can definitely reschedule! The tour provider is pretty flexible about it. Just reach out to NOLA Tours ahead of time, and they’ll help you find another date. They really want everyone to have a good experience.

Just did the Creole Architecture Tour in Marigny - Amazing!

I just got back from the Marigny Tour, and wow! The guide, Michael, was so knowledgeable about the history and architecture. We learned about the different cultural influences in the area, and the houses were stunning. I went with a small group, which made it feel like a private tour. If you're thinking about gifting this, do it! It’s a unique way to see New Orleans.

I’m shopping for something special for my mom’s birthday and came across the Creole Architecture tour. It seems like a fun experience, especially since she loves history and architecture. Plus, it’s not too pricey! Has anyone done it? Would love some feedback!
