Q&A

Q: What's the weight limit for the clear kayaks? I'm worried about my friend who's a bit on the heavier side.

A: The maximum weight for one rider is 250 lbs. However, if you're planning to go as a pair, the limit is 450 lbs total. Make sure to check the weights beforehand to ensure everyone can enjoy the tour comfortably! Also, remember that if there’s only one person booked, they might have to reschedule since a 2-person minimum is required.

Q: If it rains, do they still go out on the tour?

A: If the weather is unsafe, they may cancel the tour for safety reasons. It’s best to call ahead if you see rain in the forecast. They’ll let you know if you can reschedule or get a refund, but generally, if it’s just light rain, they might still operate!

Q: What should we wear for this kayak tour? Any recommendations?

A: Wear comfortable clothing that can get wet, like a swimsuit or quick-dry shorts. Don’t forget a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses since you’ll be out in the sun a lot! Water shoes or sandals are also a good idea for getting in and out of the kayak.

Thinking of gifting the Clear Kayak Manatee Tour!

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about giving the Clear Kayak Guided Manatee Eco-Tour as a gift to my parents who love nature. I've heard it's super fun and you can see wild manatees! The price is good, and I like that they don't charge until you show up. Just wondering if anyone has done this yet and if it's worth it? Any tips would be appreciated!

Has anyone experienced the guided kayak tour?

I’m planning a trip to Crystal River and looking at this clear kayak tour. I read that they provide all the gear which is cool. Is it really worth the hype? I want to make sure it’s good for first-time kayakers because my friend isn’t very experienced. Any advice would help!
