Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the kayak tour? Can kids join?

A: Great question! Kids are definitely welcome on the kayak tour, but it's best if they are at least 5 years old for safety reasons. The calm waters are super friendly for families, but make sure they’re comfortable in a kayak. Also, check with the provider about life jackets for younger ones!

Q: What should we wear for the kayak tour? Any recommendations?

A: Wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting wet! Quick-dry clothing is ideal, and don’t forget a hat and sunscreen since it's usually sunny out there. Water shoes or sandals with straps work great too. And, if it’s chilly, a light jacket can come in handy early in the morning!

Q: What if the weather looks bad the day of the tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather isn't cooperating, you can definitely reschedule your tour! They usually give a call the day before to confirm, and if there's a storm or high winds, they'll work with you to find another date. Just keep an eye on the forecast as your date approaches!

Just got back from the kayak tour! So amazing

I went on the Crystal River kayak tour last Thursday and it was such a chill experience! The water was so clear, and we saw a bunch of manatees just lounging around. The guide was super knowledgeable and made the trip even better. I'd totally recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves nature! Just remember to get there a bit early to find parking, as it can fill up fast.

Planning to gift the kayak tour... thoughts?

Thinking of giving the kayak tour to my sister for her birthday next month. She loves the outdoors but has never kayaked before. Should I go for it? I really hope she enjoys it! I've heard the tour is pretty relaxed, so it might be a perfect start for her. Anyone have thoughts?
