Q: What's the age limit for this manatee swim tour? Can kids participate?

A: Kids are definitely welcome on the tour! Generally, they should be at least 5 years old to participate comfortably, but younger ones can join if they're accompanied by an adult. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water. The guides are super helpful and experienced with kids.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, the tour operators will usually reach out to you to reschedule. Safety's their priority, so they won't take you out in unsafe conditions. Just keep an eye on your email before the tour date!

Q: What should we wear for the snorkeling? Are there any restrictions?

A: Wear your swimsuit underneath, and they’ll provide wetsuits to keep you warm. I’d recommend bringing a cover-up or some flip-flops for after the swim. Just make sure to pack sunscreen that’s eco-friendly since you'll be in the water with the manatees!

Manatee swimming experience - totally worth it!

Just got back from the manatee swim tour in Crystal River, and OMG, it was amazing! The guides were super knowledgeable and made everything so fun. We even got to see a baby manatee! 🐾 I can't recommend this enough, especially if you're into eco-friendly tourism. Perfect for families too!
