Q&A
A: There’s no specific age limit for kids, but they need to be able to sit comfortably and follow safety instructions. It’s great for all ages, but I’d recommend it for kids at least 5 and up to get the most out of it. We brought our 7-year-old, and he loved spotting the manatees!
A: Definitely wear layers! It can get a bit chilly on the water, especially in the morning. I’d recommend a light jacket and comfortable shoes. Sunglasses are a must too, especially if it’s sunny. You might want to wear something you don’t mind getting a little wet, just in case!
A: If the weather's not cooperating, they usually do allow for rescheduling. Just call ahead to confirm. Sometimes they might cancel if conditions are unsafe, but they’re really good about keeping you updated. We had to reschedule once, and it was super easy!

Thinking about gifting the manatee cruise! Anyone gone?
I'm thinking about giving the Crystal River Manatee Viewing Cruise as a birthday gift for my sister. She loves nature and has always wanted to see manatees. Is it as amazing as it sounds? What should I know before booking? Any tips would be great!
My experience on the manatee cruise was unforgettable!
We did the Crystal River Manatee Viewing Cruise last week and it was incredible! The captain was super knowledgeable, and we got to see so many manatees up close. The bottled water was a nice touch too! Just make sure to arrive early, the location is easy to find but parking can get crowded. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience!
