This is a seriously fun, unforgettable experience! With the rentals you can explore around the preserve, stopping along the way to enjoy the scenery and wildlife. You might see alligators, manatees, different species of fish and birds. Our electric paddleboards are wide and stable, even beginners will have a great time. All skill levels are welcome to join, we offer a lesson before each rental. We typically cruise 4-6 mph but can paddle even faster if we want. Going on the days where the wind pushes you in the opposite direction ? Our PowerBoard keeps you on course going into the breeze. Finally, a watersport that everyone can enjoy!

Q: Are there any age limits for the electric paddleboard rentals? I'm thinking of taking my 12-year-old.

A: Great question! Kids as young as 12 can definitely join the fun as long as they're accompanied by an adult. Just make sure they can swim and are comfortable on the water. The instructors are super friendly and will help everyone get the hang of it!

Q: What should I wear? Is it okay to get wet during this experience?

A: You'll want to wear something comfy that can get wet! I'd suggest a swimsuit or quick-dry clothes. Don't forget sunscreen and maybe a hat – it can get sunny out there! The paddleboards are stable, but getting splashed is part of the fun!

Just did the electric paddleboard rental at Crystal River – WOW!

I just came back from renting an electric paddleboard at Crystal River Preserve, and it was such an awesome experience! The scenery is beautiful, and we saw a manatee up close. The boards were really easy to use, even for a beginner like me. The staff gave clear instructions. If you’re looking for a fun outdoor gift, this is totally it!
