Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the kayaks, and can we reschedule if needed?

A: Yes, there's a 200 lbs weight limit for the single clear-bottom kayaks. If you need to reschedule, just contact Water's Edge Kayak Tours at least 24 hours in advance. They’re usually pretty accommodating!

Q: What should we wear for the snorkeling part? Do we need wetsuits?

A: You can wear your regular swimwear, but it’s a good idea to bring a rash guard or light layers for sun protection. Wetsuits are not necessary in the summer, but if you’re going when it's cooler, you might want to consider one. Just check the weather before you go!

Q: Is parking convenient at Waterfront Social? And how much does it cost?

A: Parking is pretty convenient at Waterfront Social and the fees are included with your tour, which is awesome! Just follow the signs when you arrive, and you shouldn’t have any issues finding a spot. Arriving early can help though, especially on weekends.

Just did the Crystal River Kayak Tour and it was AMAZING!

I took the Three Sisters Clear Kayak Tour last weekend with Captain Scotty, and I can’t recommend it enough! We spotted manatees, and the whole vibe was super chill. The clear kayaks were easy to maneuver, and Captain Scotty really knows his stuff. It's a perfect gift for anyone who loves nature. Just note that if you're going outside peak season, you might not see manatees, but we had a blast snorkeling anyway!

Looking for a fun gift! Thoughts on the kayak and snorkeling tour?

I’m thinking of getting this kayak experience for my sister’s birthday. She loves being on the water but has never kayaked before. I’m a bit worried if it’s beginner-friendly. Also, any tips on the best times to go? Thanks!
