You have heard of Raphael, Da Vinci, Titian, Rembrandt, Monet but do you really know their lives and why they are seen as geniuses? We’ll dive into the lives of the great masters as we wander the rooms of the NGA. We’ll go from the only Da Vinci in America before seeing Monet’s “Japanese Footbridge” to witness the different styles and evolutions in art. You’ll be armed with the information and history that you’ll need to appreciate the works of art on display. Art with Tosca offers tours of cultural institutions in Washington D.C and online lectures about art history. Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this tour? Can kids join?

A: There's no strict age limit, but the content might be more suitable for older kids (12+) who can appreciate art. My 13-year-old loved the tour and even asked some great questions! Just keep in mind that it can be quite in-depth, so if you're bringing younger kids, it might help to prep them a bit on the artists beforehand.

Q: Is it easy to reschedule if plans change?

A: Yes, rescheduling is pretty straightforward! Tosca's team is super accommodating. Just make sure to give them a heads-up a few days in advance. I had to change my plans last minute and they were very understanding about it.

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Is there any special dress code?

A: There’s no specific dress code, but comfy shoes are a must since you’ll be walking around a lot! I wore a nice pair of sneakers and casual clothes, and it was perfect. Just keep it classy if you want to blend in with the museum vibe!

Just did the Curated Tour at the National Gallery with Tosca!

I recently took the Curated Tour with Tosca and wow, it was amazing! We got to see the only Da Vinci painting in America and learned so much about the different styles of Monet and Rembrandt. Tosca really brings these artists to life. Perfect gift for someone who loves art but doesn’t know much about it. Definitely recommend this experience!

Considering the tour for my art-loving friend!

I’m looking at getting the Curated Tour for my friend who's a huge art buff! Is it really as good as it sounds? Anyone have tips for best days to go or what to expect? They’re a bit picky so I want to make sure this is a hit!
