A: Great question! The candle-making workshop is suitable for ages 12 and up, so your niece will definitely be able to participate. Just make sure to check if she has any allergies to fragrances since she’ll get to choose her own blends!

A: Nope, you don’t need to bring anything! All materials are provided, including the wax, fragrance oils, and containers. Just wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little wax on, just in case!

A: If the weather is really bad, they typically send out an email to reschedule. They want to keep everyone safe. I’ve had to reschedule once due to a hurricane warning, and they were very accommodating about it!

I’m really excited about this candle-making workshop I found in Long Island! I think it’s such a cool gift idea for my best friend’s birthday. You get to create your own scents and take home a candle! Has anyone done this yet? How did you like it? I’m just worried about parking at the venue.

Just got back from the candle-making experience and WOW!

I did the candle-making experience at Artisane last weekend and it was so much fun! You pick your own scent and the instructor made sure we all had a great time. I made a lavender and sandalwood candle that smells divine! Plus, they give you a drink while you work. Definitely recommend for a unique gift!
