Q&A
A: Great question! Kids are definitely welcome on the Cypress Springs Paddle Board & Kayak Eco Tour. As long as they can comfortably wear a life jacket and follow the guide's instructions, they'll have a blast. Just keep in mind that it’s a good idea for younger kids to have an adult with them on the same board or kayak for safety.
A: For the Cypress Springs tour, it’s best to wear a swimsuit or quick-dry clothes since you'll likely get splashed. Also, water shoes or sandals with straps are a good idea to keep your feet safe on the board. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses for sun protection!
A: The tour includes round-trip transportation, which is super convenient. They pick you up from a designated location in Destin and take you to Cypress Springs. If you do have your own car, there's parking available at the meeting point, but I’d suggest using their transport to make it hassle-free.

Just booked the Cypress Springs Eco Tour for my family!
I’m so excited! We’re going in a couple of weeks. I read about the transparent paddle boards, and it sounds so cool to see the springs while paddling. Can’t wait to see the wildlife! We’re bringing our kids, so I hope they love it. I just hope the weather is nice, as I’ve heard it can get pretty humid in September in Destin.
My experience on the Cypress Springs Eco Tour!
I did the eco tour last month, and it was amazing! The transparent paddle boards are a game-changer. I could see fish swimming beneath me as we paddled! Our guide was super knowledgeable and shared tons of info about the springs. Just a heads up—definitely bring a waterproof pouch for your phone if you want to take photos.
