Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for the Da Local's Food Tour of Oahu?

A: Yes, there is a minimum age of 10 years old for this tour. It's a great experience for families, but younger kids might find it challenging to appreciate the food and history. If you're bringing younger kids, consider whether they'd enjoy the foods offered. Just remember, some of the dishes are quite unique!

Q: Can I reschedule if my plans change?

A: Absolutely! Hawaii Free Tours is pretty flexible with rescheduling. Just give them a heads-up at least 24 hours in advance, and they'll help you find a new date. It's super convenient, especially if you're dealing with weather changes or last-minute travel adjustments.

Q: What should I wear on the food tour, especially if it's hot?

A: I recommend wearing lightweight, breathable clothes since it can get pretty warm in Honolulu. Comfy shoes are a must too, as you'll be doing some walking between food stops. And definitely bring a hat and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun!

Just did Da Local's Food Tour and it was AMAZING!

I just got back from the Da Local's Food Tour of Oahu and wow, I can't recommend it enough! Our guide was super knowledgeable and took us to some hidden gems in Honolulu. We tried poke bowls, loco moco, and even some mochi that I’d never seen before. The pick-up and drop-off made it so easy to enjoy the food without worrying about parking. If you're thinking about it as a gift, do it! Perfect for food lovers.

Considering gifting the food tour – any advice?

I’m thinking about gifting the Da Local's Food Tour to my foodie friend who’s heading to Oahu next month. Has anyone done this? I want to make sure it’s worth it. What was the best dish you tried, and how long does the tour usually last?
