Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this wine tour? Can kids come along?

A: The tour is primarily for adults, but if you're bringing kids along, they can join you as long as they're supervised. Just check with the provider beforehand because some wineries might have their own policies regarding minors. Usually, it’s best for kids to stick to 12 and up if they’re joining you for the tastings.

Q: What should we wear for the Dahlonega wine tour? Is it fancy or casual?

A: It's pretty casual! Think comfy but nice. You’ll be exploring vineyards and maybe walking around a bit, so wear something relaxed. A nice pair of jeans and a cute top works, plus some comfortable shoes. You might want to bring a light jacket since it can get cooler in the mountains.

Q: What if it rains on the day of the tour? Do they reschedule?

A: If the weather’s bad, the tour can be rescheduled or even canceled, depending on the conditions. They try to be flexible, so it's best to call them ahead of time if you have concerns. Just keep an eye on the forecasts and communicate with the provider—they're usually really accommodating.

Thinking about booking the Dahlonega Wine & Dine Tour for my anniversary!

I'm considering this tour for my husband and me. I love that it’s a private experience! We’d get picked up in Atlanta, which is super convenient. Has anyone done this yet? What was the highlight? Also, how’s the food at Montaluce? I hope it’s as good as it sounds!

Just did the Dahlonega Wine Tour - here’s my experience!

I just got back from the Dahlonega Wine & Dine tour, and it was everything I hoped for! The drive from Atlanta was so smooth, and our guide was super knowledgeable about wine. We tried some incredible varieties at The Cottage. Dining at Wolf Mountain Winery was a highlight; the food was delicious! I recommend this for any wine lovers looking for a fun day trip.
