Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this RV tour, and can kids join?

A: Yes, kids are totally welcome on the tour! Just keep in mind that it’s recommended for ages 5 and up, mainly because of the late-night hours and the cold. It’s a great experience for families looking to see the Northern Lights together. Make sure to bundle them up in warm layers.

Q: What's the cancellation policy if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather doesn’t permit the tour due to low visibility, they usually reschedule you to the next available date. They’ll keep you updated on conditions leading up to your trip. No stress, you don't lose your money!

Q: What should I wear for the RV tour? Is it really cold at night?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It gets chilly in Fairbanks at night, so thermal base layers, a warm jacket, and waterproof boots are your best friends. They provide hot drinks on the RV, but you’ll want to stay comfy outside while you’re looking for the lights.

Thinking about gifting the Aurora RV Tour to my parents, thoughts?

I’m considering this Dancing Lights in the Sky RV tour for my parents' anniversary. They love nature and have always wanted to see the Northern Lights, but I’m worried about the cold and whether it’ll be too much for them. Has anyone done this? Is it worth it? Planning to go in late November!

Just got back from the RV Northern Lights tour and WOW!

I did the Dancing Lights tour last week and it was AMAZING! The RV is super comfy, and they had all these snacks and hot cocoa. We saw some stunning auroras, and I loved that we could share live updates with friends. Highly recommend it, perfect gift or just a great experience for yourself!
